A little about this piece: I started this in the summer of 2021 after seeing a “Portal Tree” on my way up north. I had a vision of what could lie on the other side.
I had no idea this would carry a deeper meaning at is completion in January 2022.
On the other side of despair, desolation, and weariness we can find such reward. Bountiful.. blissful plenty. On the other side of challenge is fulfillment and growth.
The dragonfly is a reminder that we can embrace the other side at anytime. It is not some distant and far away place… its within our reach anytime grace allows.
The other side wouldn’t be as bright without the contrast of our experience. Growing through what we go through is the ultimate victory… with knowledge and hope, the bountiful possibilities are infinite; as are we.
I am ready to enter the other side.
